Rapper Hurricane Chris best known for the song “A Bay Bay” was recently charged with second-degree murder in Louisiana.
The rapper whose government name is Christopher Dooley Jr., was arrested Friday on one count of second-degree murder and illegal possession of stolen property, Shreveport Police said in a press release.
Dooley, 31, is being held without bond in the city jail
The shooting occurred at a gas station in Shreveport. Officers found person suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Dooley had went to the gas station’s store and had told police he shot the man because he was attempting to steal his car. Video footage contradicts that statement. The vehicle Dooley was in had also been reported stolen from Texas. Dooley is from Shreveport.
