At the end of 2019 I caught up via Zoom with former Ms. Nevada State Katie Jo Williams who alleged she lost her title for supporting President Donald Trump. It seems that story may be less than credible as the former Ms. America pageant owner Susan Jeske claims “All the pageant asked of Ms. Williams, in writing, was to keep separate social media accounts which she refused to do. The purpose of the Rules and Regulations is that the Ms. America Pageant does not want to be seen as endorsing any political agenda or cause. I assure you as a conservative Christian who voted for President Trump, Ms. Williams’ political stance had nothing to do with her disqualification from the pageant.”
What adds credence to Ms. Jeske claims is that she is a supporter of President Trump who in addition to being involved in the Republican Party since the 1980’s, Young Americans For Freedom Goodwill Ambassador, Young Republicans, the National Anthem singer for the Opening of the Ronald Reagan Library with 5 U.S. Presidents, President George W. Bush’s Inauguration and the Republican National Convention 1996. She has shown me personal signed thank you letters from President Reagan and a Lifetime Achievement Award from President George W. Bush for over 4000 documented hours of volunteer service.
Jeske also holds the Guinness Book of World Records for singing the National Anthem at the most events in a 24-hour period and sang at Republican Events for Oliver North, Pat Buchanan, Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, President Reagan, President Bush Sr, President George W. Bush, Vice President Dick Cheney, Vice President Dan Quayle, Trent Lott, Strom Thurmond, Chris Cox, Political Action Conference 1990, Conservative Leadership Conference, Governor Wilson, Governor Deukmejian, Bruce Herschensohn and CPAC.
Williams is currently a candidate for Clark County School Board District B. I’m not the only person who has questioned Williams credibility. In November 2019, Ms. Williams was interviewed for Dale Davidson Ministry TV show – Las Vegas Tonight Episode 338. After examining the facts and talking to Ms. Jeske over the phone, he took down her episode and stated that they would not air her interview on any TV stations. This was the first and only time Davidson has decided to take down an Episode. His credentials include being a speech writer for President Bush.
