The Boston Celtics are on an impressive winning streak. Wednesday night’s 130-125 overtime win over the Washington Wizards was the latest victory. The Celtics found a way to deal Washington a defeat on the road even though they were playing without Al Horford, Gordon Hayward and Jaylen Brown, and Aron Baynes was on a minute restriction.

This is a team that can only be defined as “clutch”. Take for instance that during this streak Horford and Brown missed four games. Baynes, Hayward and Guerschon Yabusele each missed a couple of games and Kyrie Irving missed one. However, the Celtics still won them all without key players missing in the lineup.

The Celtics record stands at 17-10 putting them in 5th place and only 4.5 games out of first place, after a abysmal start of 10-10 and if this trend continues through All-Star break anything is possible for this team as they defy obstacles such as injuries and show the character of the team which will continue to be tested with Horford out for at least four games and with trade rumors swirling of the front office going after the Orlando Magic’s Nikola Vucevic, anything is possible.
