That Time the Red Sox Won the World Series in 2013

banner

It is hard to believe that was 5 years ago. Here is a little ditty from the night after they won.

Holy Shit. 3 times in 10 years. from last to first in 1 season. Congrats to the BostonRed Sox and the best sports city in the world. Boston, well we got it all. I have seen 9 Boston teams win in my life time (10 if you count the 1984 Celtics in when i was in the whommba). This town knows how to win. Players want to come here because we have the best fans in the world. This win was more than a win, It was for the victims of Boston Marathon Bombing, it was for a city the fully unites and when something happens, they shut the entire place down until everything is better. The Bruins came close in June, The Pats did as well in January, but how sweet is it to see the 1918 curse gone for good. Congrats Red Sox on you 8th World Series title.

p.s. last night I walked around town after the win for some video and pictures
