Aaron Carter, brother of Backstreet Boy Nick Carter hilariously tried to put out a hilarious sob story after being arrested for a DUI.
This was probably his last chance to get some real street cred. He could have easily bumped up his celebrity status from a D to a C if he just shut his mouth and took the charges like a man. Instead, he chose to whine, cry & make stupid excuses.
According to Aaron, he didn’t want to waste money on rentals driving gig to gig in different states. I’m thinking he couldn’t afford rentals, but I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt. Anyway, he figured it would be cheaper to buy a shitty car. He then stopped in an AutoZone in Georgia to allegedly fix an alignment issue due to a new tire. After being confronted by police in AutoZone, this is his story. “Somebody said I was driving recklessly on the road, that’s what the police report said, but the alignment was off on my car, so I went to AutoZone to see if I could do anything about it,” Carter explains. “A motorcyclist reported that I was swerving all over the road, but the alignment was off a little bit on the new tire.” I think it’s important to note that he was reported by a motorcyclist. A motorcyclist isn’t going to call police while driving. That means this person felt Aaron was driving so shitty that he/she actually pulled over to make this call and report him. Also, I’ve driven cars that are out of alignment. I have never in my life driven anything so out of whack that I was erratically all over the road. Where did he buy this car? Smells like bullshit to me. (source)
Why drive state to state in a shit box? Why not just fly? Apparently, flying gives Aaron anxiety. At this point he played the 9/11 card. “I opened for Michael Jackson Sept. 9 and 10 in 2001 — we all left the morning of Sept. 11 and watched the Trade Centers get hit across the Hudson River, and I saw it with my own eyes and I saw people jumping out of the buildings and burned,” This is truly an attempt to gain pity points. He could have simply just stated that he has a fear of flying. That’s all he needed to say! Instead, the little jackass feels the need to bring 9/11 into this almost 16 years later! WTF!?
I did some fact checking. He did perform on those dates in September. I’m sure Michael Jackson loved every moment of his performance too. No wonder Aaron Carter is all fucked up. Put yourself in his shoes. Your biggest hit song was “I want candy”. Next, factor in that you’re now 29 years old and have been singing that same lame ass song since you were 12! Sounds like hell to me.
