Adam from the The Packie got his Mug – Spirits on Bourbon

IMG_0132

So when I first told Adam from the Packie I was coming down to New Orleans, he had requested that I stopped at a place on Bourbon Street called Spirits on Bourbon to get him a glowing mug. The location was featured on Bar Rescue and Adam really wanted one of these crazy looking light up mugs. don’t get me wrong, they are cool. In fact the entire bar was pretty cool. It was an old barber shop back in the day. The place features a $6 dollar shot in a barbers chair in the middle of the floor. There was a band playing on stage and the people working their were pretty cool. Eric had the gumbo and he said it was nice and spicy, like Eric likes his women. We stopped at Spirits during a pub crawl in the style of Bar Golf, a game where you set a par for each bar and have to drink what the par has been set, check out the pub crawl here. We managed to get to 5 holes and well after the 3 for 1s at Razzoo caught up to us, we called it quits. I currently have Adam’s mug in my custody, lets hope it makes it back to Boston in one piece.
