Movie Review: The Good Dinosaur

Is The Good Dinosaur good? Is it even a dinosaur? Is it a movie? It’s a movie. -Steven Richard K

Pixar did it again folks.

This flick starts off with another decent short film. If you haven’t had a chance to check out the Disney/Pixar short collection available on Netflix, it might be a good watch with the little cousins this weekend. (Not all of them are good but some of them are absolutely great).

This is another fine film from Disney/Pixar. In this movie humans play dogs and dinosaurs play ukulele. No that never happened. Sorry. I’m tired. This was a good movie. I didn’t think it was great, it didn’t move me as much as other cartoons but it did the trick. I don’t know what to say about this movie. My editor is on my back to get my word count up for this article. I got to get to bed man. I gotta go to bed. Let me be me man. Let me be me. Friggin editors. These count as words. These words count as words. This is my art. My movie reviews are my art and you can’t stop me from using these words to increase my word count and also it’s my art.

Keep in mind that Disney hates parents.

I went for 3D, which was pretty cool for the scenic views but not super necessary. Many of the shots in this were breathtaking. It really made me want to go for a hike. It was beautiful.

The Good Dinosaur is out everywhere on Thanksgiving. (Yes of this year, why would you even ask that!?)

TLDR: 4/5. Another good outing from Pixar. A cute heart warming adventure about a boy and his pet boy.
