Bernie Sanders is finally is leading a legitimate poll. No, it’s not the Democratic nomination, Sanders currently leads voting in Time Magazine’s Person of the Year. He is currently beating out the Pope and Malala Yousafzai, the eighteen year old girl who is probably much, much more deserving. You wanna talk about courage and standing up for what you believe in? Malala should probably be Time’s Person of a Lifetime.
This poll, though, should be a breath of fresh air for supporters of Sanders, who seem to be constantly getting goosed by biased Facebook polls that get run on DavesSocialistShack.com. It must have been a big relief that it is an internet poll, so they have been able to cast their votes from their parents’ basements, as well.
Sneaky funny is that Refugees is seventh on this list, right behind Stephen Colbert. No, not the band featuring Lauryn Hill and Wyclef Jean, but actual real suffering human refugees. You can’t come to our country, but you got a shot at winning Time’s Person of the Year. Good luck! Frankly, I am surprised Caitlyn Jenner isn’t winning this in a landslide. She is stunning and courageous.
