This is the First time I tried this beer on draft. The only other time was in a bottle and I think I was like 5 beers into the night at that point so my memory isn’t quite what it used to be. It was a cold day in Boston so I figured why not have a sweet stout to warm me up.
I am a big fan of the Left Hand Brewing Company, specially the stouts. This one is creamy, thick and smooth. Its not to alcoholy in taste, so your not going to fall off the stool with one, but there is just enough to get you feeling it, similar to an IPA .
This stout is sweet and has a nice finish. As a stout, I would say it is probably the best I have had in a long time. Good job yet again Left Hand.
